Björn Burkhard
Björn is our Swiss/Swedish Art Director for Print and Interactive. He’s a fashion victim and knows more about the intersection of technology and art than you could ever use.
When he was still a toddler, he expressed his creative freedom on his bedroom walls and discovered what impact colour and lines can have on one’s environment. His parents were not amused.
Not long after, he was sucked into the digital world when his father bought him an IBM computer. In 1999, Björn enrolled in interactive design at EMAF in the French part of Switzerland.
Straight out of school he was hired by a company to design websites. Two years later he was given the opportunity to apply his technical know-how and creative instincts at a brand level for Fortune 500 advertising clients.
Björn, who always delivers more than expected, lives in the future, and his creative output consistently pushes the boundaries of modern media. Before starting IN-HALT, the creative team of Björn and Nina won multiple national and international awards for their work at a large international advertising agency.
